Privacy Policy

1) What data we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from your device or from your use of the App.

Specifically:

• No account is required.
• No in-app analytics or tracking SDKs.
• No collection of names, emails, identifiers, contacts, photos, location, or precise device identifiers.
• No marketing/advertising data collection.

2) How your files are handled

• The PDFs you open are processed locally on your device.
• We do not upload your files to our servers (we don’t operate any).
• If you choose files from cloud storage (e.g., via the system file picker), access is provided by that service under its own terms — you control that connection.

3) Permissions and why we use them

• Read access to device storage / media: Needed only to let you open PDF files you select.
• Internet access (if present): Not used for tracking; may be required by the OS or certain PDF rendering libraries for basic functionality (e.g., license check or loading a remote file you explicitly choose). The App does not send personal data.

We do not use permissions for any purpose beyond opening and displaying PDFs.

4) Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

5) Third-party services

We do not integrate analytics or advertising SDKs. If in the future optional services are added (e.g., crash reporting), this policy will be updated and any such services will be listed here.

6) Crash and diagnostic information

By default, we do not collect diagnostics. However, Google Play or your device OS may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash reports (e.g., device model, OS version, stack traces) to improve stability. These reports do not include personal data and are controlled by your device and Google’s privacy settings.

7) Data retention

Because we do not collect personal data, we do not retain it. Files you open remain on your device under your control.

8) Security

Your PDFs never leave your device via the App. Please use a secure lock screen and keep your device software up to date to protect your files.

9) International transfers

No personal data is transferred internationally by us because we do not collect or transmit such data.

10) Your rights

Since we do not collect personal data, requests to access, correct, delete, or port personal data generally do not apply. If you contact us, we will assist with any privacy questions you may have.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
